Accommodations

The house has recently been restructured with tasteful features which make it particularly warm and welcoming. The flooring is all done in terracotta, typical of the ancient Tuscan tradition; the walls, displaying their stone origins, emanate a sense of timeless strength and protection. Furnishings are a mixture of wooden antiques and modern pieces which together make for a pleasurable and comfortable interior; full round brick arches encourage easy communication between the different living areas.
The house occupies two floors, one raised floor with entryway, kitchen and two bedrooms, and a second floor with two sitting rooms and two bedrooms opening onto the panoramic terrace.

Raised floor

Immediately to the right of the entry is an ancient wood-burning stove built of stone. In the past this fascinating feature was used for baking bread. The entry opens onto a large salon divided into two areas: one with a large wooden table for dining and another with comfortable couches for enjoying evenings in front of the fire.
The kitchen, to the left of the large table, is spacious, with marble counters, traditional stone basin and all the accessories necessary for preparing excellent meals.
On this floor there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms: one master bedroom with romantic wrought-iron bed and access to the garden, and a second double bedroom with separate beds.
A stone staircase on this floor leads to the lower floor.

Lower floor

The central area hosts two sitting rooms, one with a large couch and the other with a beautiful ceiling of exposed wooden beams. To the left lies a bright and panoramic master bedroom with shower bathroom and splendid arched French doors opening onto the terrace. To the right lies another double bedroom with separate beds, a shower bathroom decorated in shades of green, and two doors opening onto the terrace.
