Borgo Bernardini
Come to discover this part of Tuscany in a way that goes beyond your wildest imagination, in a setting ideal for an exclusive holiday and for enticing cooking classes.
Once upon a time, before the XIV century, this hamlet served was the hunting residence of the Bernardini counts of Lucca. Today the borgo has been completely renovated and equipped with the best modern amenities, without sacrificing the architectonic features typical of its origins or of its classic Tuscan style.

The area is truly enchanting and one of the most fascinating of an indisputably unique region. Not far from the Alpi Apuane (a mountain range rich with some of the most precious marbles in the world, including those sought out by Michelangelo for his sculptures), Borgo Bernardini is also close to the fabulous beaches of the Versilia coast.
The villa stands at the center of a marvelous Italian style garden-park, where a charming scenario of timeless beauty has been composed with ponds of lily pads and stately antique statues, elements which render this perfect spot for enjoying peace and tranquility.
Relaxation can also be found in the magnificent large swimming pool, its clear blue waters sparkling on the emerald green lawn, where one can go barefoot on the soft natural carpet.
For a delightful change of pace within a reasonable distance from the villa, one can easily reach the most prized pearl of the Renaissance, Florence, as well as visit the magical Chianti hills near Siena, or spend a day in nearby Liguria experiencing the uncontaminated "Cinque Terre" (a series of tiny coastal towns rich with history and specialty dishes), or admire the panoramas of Monteriggioni and the towers of San Gimignano.

A bright sitting room provides access to the other large rooms of the house, which have been delightfully decorated, including a billiard hall and an interesting enoteca, stocked with an excellent private collection of fine wines.
Inside the villa, from any spot, one can appreciate vistas of the surrounding soft and bewitching hills.
Many of the rooms, all superbly furnished and with a lovely view of the private grounds and countryside dotted with silvery olive trees, are equipped with a hydro massage.
At night you will be delighted and soothed by the peaceful countryside, benefiting from the tranquility either indoors or outdoors, where dancing water reflections from the illuminated garden ponds animate the spirit.

Here in this luxurious complex, ancient but at the same time equipped with the latest modern amenities, one can take advantage of personalized cooking classes.
The cooking school provides the ideal spot for unraveling the great mysteries of Tuscan cuisine. Here learning takes place in a pleasant and familiar atmosphere, with the help of professional chefs whose work is characterized by the personal passion they have for their work. Guests are instructed not only in the enjoyment of cooking and eating well, but also in the principles of some of the most refined dishes - tasty and simple at the same time - which have made this cuisine the foundation of the Mediterranean diet. We are certain that after a visit to Borgo Bernardini, what will remain in your heart is the professional and personal care that the staff of this luxurious villa has to offer.
