| Castello di Bibbione |
| Situated on a green hill of the Chianti Classico region, 15km from Florence and 44 km from Siena, the Bibbione Castle stands looking out over the Val di Pesa from a spot just above the nearby medieval hamlet. . |

Built prior to the year 1000 and circled by defensive walls, the Castle is full of history and legends.
Originally property of the Buondelmonte family, in 1124 the castle passed hands to the Sforza Aldobrandeschi family, eventually becoming the property of the great Italian writer Niccolò Macchiavelli, who is considered, together with Leonardo da Vinci, as a model of the typical "Rennaissance man".
As was appropriate for such a figure, Machiavelli used the Castle as a hunting lodge.
Passed down over the centuries, the property has remained in the family and is part of the owner's rich cultural heritage which can be traced back to the illustrious Florentine writer.
