In fact, one reaches Podere la Casetta traveling along a beautiful panoramic road with fields and woods as far as the eye can see, arriving finally at the top of a hill where the ancient building stands, as if guarding the valley below.
The edifice, built at the end of the 1800s, was used by local farmers as a place for storing raw materials. It is still possible to recognize what was once a barn and a granary, although today these structures have been transformed into comfortable luxury apartments.

The villa has been recently restored and new additions, such as the large windows, impart a modern air to the entire structure. In other instances, traditional materials have been used in the renovation, in order to preserve certain characteristics of the original buildings and recreate an atmosphere similar to that which reigned in the past.
A well-kept garden circles the villa, displaying a wide range of flowers, hedges, trees and aromatic herbs. Each apartment has its own outdoor area, separated by flowers and hedges and equipped for outdoor dining with a table, chairs, barbeque and umbrellas.
The pool area lies just a few steps below the living quarters. Here, around the large pool furnished with lounge chairs and umbrellas, quests will find a comfortable area perfect for a cool dip in the water or just quiet time relaxing and taking in the wonderful view that extends across fields of wheat and sunflowers towards the gentle hills and the horizon.
