In the heart of the enchanting Chianti countryside, just a few kilometers from Barberino val d’Elsa, stands the majestic stone farmhouse of I Celli.

Completely restored in 2004, the farmhouse has preserved intact its original characteristics, complementing them with the most modern of comforts such as satellite TV, VCR, DVD, telephone, fax, PC with Internet, air-conditioning, sauna and Jacuzzi bath, all providing for extremely comfortable and elegant accommodations.
The interiors are fashionably decorated drawing from modern and traditional Tuscan furnishings which harmonize well with the ancient terracotta floors and chestnut beamed ceilings.
A delightful discovery here are the delicate wall decorations in all the bedrooms, hand-painted and stenciled using characteristic colors of the local surroundings, bringing, indoors, the dreamy atmosphere of the Tuscan outdoors.
Entering the main salon, one immediately notices the skill and passion with which the restoration of the house was carried out.

Both the floor in ancient terracotta and the beamed ceiling in chestnut and tiles preserve the materials and craftsmanship of the past while creating the perfect backdrop for comfortable contemporary living.
Here each feature of the interior has been carefully chosen: the fireplace with its large stone architrave, the steps and threshold in hewn sandstone, the decorated walls.
Located up above the salon is an open loft, furnished as a study with two couches which can be made into comfortable beds.
The kitchen, it too with its own fireplace, is spacious and well-equipped with dishwasher, oven, and large double-door American refrigerator with ice-dispenser.

On the upper floor the bedrooms have terracotta floors and large windows. One of the bedrooms has a large door which opens onto an ample terrace where one can view the garden and pool.
Extending along one side of the house is a large porch with a magnificent gazebo. Here one can enjoy breakfast or main meals immersed in the greenery and perfumes of the Tuscan countryside.
The well-kept garden surrounding the house insures complete privacy and leads to a large pool (25x52ft), where in any moment, perhaps after a sauna, one can enjoy its waters.
The pool, with its dark wooden deck, is gentle on both the feet and spirit, gleaming picture-postcard blue on the plush green of the circling lawn.
Domestic help, baby-sitter or Personal Chef can all be furnished on request.

A large garden with extensive lawns wraps around the house and sweeps gently downhill 30m/100 feet to the swimming pool, 8 x 16m/26 x 52 feet, and its pool house with a changing room, showers, a fridge and a WC. Surrounding the property are the lush, rolling hills for which Tuscany is justifiably famous.
