| Traveling down a long cypress-lined drive, across an estate of olive groves and vineyards, one arrives at this ancient and traditional Tuscan villa which has been restored with skill and care. |

Inside a large fenced park with electric gate and at the center of a lovely garden and lawn, guests will find themselves amidst an elegant and, at the same time, familiar atmosphere.
Guests will especially appreciate the warm hospitality characterizing their stay from the very beginning.
This includes courtesies such as finding the refrigerator stocked with a fresh supply of groceries, receiving a basket of additional handy items such as more kitchen supplies and razors, as well as discovering more nice touches like fresh flowers and mineral water in each room.
Here nothing has been neglected in a sincere effort to make guests feel at ease or even on par with Leopold the Grand Duke of Tuscany, one important historical figure who came here often.

Preservation and restoration of the villa, wisely begun in the 1800's by the Riccardi family, has never been interrupted, this in following with the family motto: "We are working to preserve this unique piece of history for future generations and to restore the estate once again to its former glory". |

Situated in the rolling and green Pisan hills, the villa has a particularly interesting location, both for the peace and quiet that it offers and for its strategic distance from important tourist destinations such as Florence, Lucca, San Gimignano, Pisa, Volterra and Siena. One can also visit the thermal spas of nearby Montecatini, or, along the coast, visit the Versilia and Maremma regions famous for their seaside localities.
The outdoor heated swimming pool is surrounded by splendid flower beds, carefully tended by expert hands which also look after the pergola where one can keep cool in the shade and enjoy refreshments. Centuries-old olive trees cast suggestive profiles on the clear blue water, their reflections and shadows dancing on the surface and offering shade.
Situated nearby is an outdoor dining area with aromatic plants and flowers arranged in terracotta vases.

Inside the villa a bright and magnificent double living area features a fireplace and arches supporting large white beams which, from above, defer to the ancient terracotta flooring below, partially covered with rugs.
The large, modern kitchen, perfectly equipped with all the necessary appliances, enables guests to prepare and enjoy wonderful meals which can be served indoors or outdoors, according to the season.
The large and bright master bedrooms are perfectly exquisite, two of them having their own fireplace and terrace from which guests can admire the soft hills in the pink light of dawn or the golden rays of sunset. The decorating scheme is superb throughout the villa, not only in the living areas, one of which lies adjacent to the bedrooms.
The bedrooms, which have been restored and decorated so as to enhance their classical and ancient beauty, are matched with well-designed modern bathrooms.
For guests with a certain passion for hunting, hunting expeditions can be organized from September on, together with the village locals who are ready to welcome their new hunting companions in a friendly and cordial manner.
