| Villa Antica Francina |
|
Nested in the heart of the Italian peninsula, halfway between Rome and Florence, lies Umbria. With its hill-top towns and ancient castles, sunflower fields and olive groves, it is a region steeped in history, art and culture. Its cuisine and wines rival those of its neighbours Tuscany and Lazio, and its beauty, second to none, has earned it the title "The Green Heart of Italy". The property is very close to Todi. |

Villa Antica Francina is a luxurious stone farmhouse, with a separate self contained guest house, situated on a hillside outside a small nice village with a spectacular view on Tiber river and woods.
The property, which dates back 300 years, was recently completely restored by the current owner to a high standard, with terracotta floor tiling and “travi in legno” but with all comfort inside and Italian design furniture. It stands some 370 meters (1200 feet) above sea level with a spectacular 360° view.
The property is set in 2,5 hectares (over 5 acres), half of which is fenced. Roses, olive trees and oak trees, with landscaped, terraced gardens – lawns, flower beds, shrubs, flowers and herbs surround the building.
The 3 patios outside look at 3 different and beautiful green landscapes. |

A stepped, gravel path leads down to a 12 by 6 metre pool completed by a scenic Jacuzzi which looks at the Tiber river. The pool area is positioned a few metres from the villa overlooking the most panoramic side of the property.
