Podere Lamberto
The road between Montepulciano and Chiusi is a series of woods and green
meadows, a sequence of views of the famous tuscan country, where silence and the colour
of oaks, cypresses, olives and vineyards rule and blend with the stones of the old
farmhouse. |
|
Along this road lies Podere Lamberto, a former farmhouse which has been restored and opened to the visitors.
Podere Lamberto is a holiday farm that draws inspiration from the country hotels: few rooms, homely welcome and great attention to details.
A path through the trees leads to a pond and to the paddock, from here one can go on horseback rides in the beautiful countryside (you can rent horses in the nearby stables). |

People can also
enjoy the typical tuscan tastes of the natural products of the
farm: vegetables, fruits, wine, oil, honey, sheep's milk cheese and hand-made pasta.

Walking along the edge of a plateau, where a
millenary oak is silhouetted against the sky
and surrounded by big brooms, symbols of the peace that rules in this farm.
One reaches
the swimming-pool, which is situated in the middle of a wide lawn near the former stable,
which is nowadays a delightful place to relax.
