| La Limonaia |
Just a hop skip and jump away from the Rennaissance atmosphere of central Florence stands the villa La Limonaia, where it reigns from a spectacular position over the most splendid part of the Arno valley, facing the Tuscan Apennine mountains and with, at its back, the soft undulating hills of Chianti. |
|
The enchanting panorama can be enjoyed from a large luminous window that brightens the dining hall and from the patio, completely done in stone, which provides a peaceful area for relaxing, dining and cooling-off on summer evenings. Here one can stretch-out in comfortable wicker chairs while enjoying refreshment or a meal on crystal-topped wrought-iron tables.
Equally graceful are the interiors, furnished with the special care and fine taste of the lady-of-the-house / owner, an expert interior designer whose choices combine the ancient scenery of the paintings with neoclassic touches of the interior, creating splendid comfort.
