The Villa is situated in the very large estate of the castle of Murlo among the Umbrian hills which are famous for their charm, architecture and natural beauty.
The estate of the castle of Murlo which is owned by the Carabba Tettamanti Radziwill family, dominates the suggestive valley of Monte Tezio and it is located 20 km from Perugia and 15 km from Trasimeno lake.

The Villa is set on the top of a hill, overlooking a beautiful view over the lakes of the estate and Monte Subasio. On a clear day, it is possible to see Assisi, the city of San Francesco, which lies on the slopes of Monte Subasio.
It is at 5 minutes by car, 15 minute walk or just 3 minutes away by golf cart from the Antognolla golf resort which has just opened.
The Villa also enjoys a very fine position because of the many important historical monuments like convents, monasteries and abbeys that can be found in the area only a few kilometres away from the property.
It is also possible to visit Perugia, Gubbio, Spello with it’s impressive frescos by Pinturicchio in the Cappella Baglioni, Foligno, Orvieto with its underground necropolis and definitely the most beautiful gothic cathedral in Italy, Corciano, Todi and many others places of historical and architectural interest. |

Inevitably, Assisi is well-worth a visit with its mysterious churches and suggestive atmosphere that you can feel while looking at the majestic frescoes by Giotto in the Basilica of Saint Francis. Other sites of interest in Umbria include the Marmore Waterfall at Terni that is the highest waterfall in Umbria.
Tuscany is closer than one may think with its fascinating and interesting places like Siena (1 hour), Cortona (30 min) and Florence (1,5 hours).

The very charming characteristics of the estate enable the visitor to enjoy a period of peace and quietness due to its big size and possibility to take long walks across the woods. This unique place gives the impression that time has stopped and has transported you to the Middle Ages.
The Villa is a private and independent “casale” with annexed a little church dating back to the XII century has a private entrance, garden and pool that guarantee complete privacy to its guests.
The villa has a big terrace in front of the church that overlooks the swimming pool which has sun all day long and has a charming cocktail terrace near the pool that overlooks the estate where you can enjoy a drink in a perfect atmosphere for a cocktail in the sunset.

Right outside the kitchen, in the back of the house, an outdoor dining area has been equipped with a wooden table, chairs and umbrellas. Here guests can enjoying eating and relaxing outdoors.
The villa is also surrounded by very big old olive trees that give the impression that nothing has changed since the beginning of time.
Scattered about the garden are large plants, shrubs and flowers of every color and size, delighting the eyes and cheering the atmosphere.
The Villa has been perfectly and elegantly restored in order to maintain the original materials like the stone walls, the big wood beams and the old floor done in terracotta tiles. |
