The property of three acres is reached traveling down a typically Tuscan lane of cypress trees which lead directly to the villa's entrance. The cities of Florence and Fiesole are easily reached from this location, as well as all the marvels of the area.
Originally there was only one road connecting the villa to Florence but later another road was built, linking the property with the town of Compiobbi. The villa has been recently restored, carefully preserving all the typical characteristics of an ancient Tuscan residence, but has been decorated and brought up to date with modern amenities and refined furniture.

On the outside, villa il Sogno appears as an imposing ochre-yellow colored building with numerous large windows which brighten and enhance the interior.

Extending all around the villa is a garden of colored plants and flowers, fruit trees, grape vines and olive trees. Here nature is undoubtedly the protagonist of this corner of paradise.
In the back of the villa, a large flowered arbor covers an area with table, chairs and lounge chairs. Equipped with a barbeque, this is the ideal spot for outdoor dining, or simply for cooling off any time of day or evening.
Heading past the arbor, one can explore the woods that serve as a natural curtain all around the property, providing optimum privacy. Walking through the woods one can admire all the endemic plant varieties present.

To the left of the villa lies the large panoramic pool area, where guests can relax and take in the lovely view of the outlying hills and fields. Guests can enjoy either shade or sunshine using the umbrellas and lounge chairs situated around the pool, where they will also find a large table and chairs.
